1960 : it is probably the largest version available of Glenfarclas, a year which deserves all superlatives.
The Family Casks Collection owns a 43 years production (from 1952 to 1994): within this range, the 1960 is the most impressive one.

Color : mahogany with green reflections.

Nose : rich, complex. Made in sherry barrels, it is marked by prune, cherry, brandy, spices and an invaluable wood note. It also evokes date, orange and leather.

Palate : of an exceptional richness. A taste of smoky wood associated with pulpy notes of strawberry and chocolate, cardamom and fresh mint.
Finish : interminable, suave. Its texture is of a great delicacy. It reveals old wood, the powder of cocoa and peach. It lasts on lime, roasted nut and fresh fig.
